email: purr@adventuresinelegance.com. Not all are listed, we like for people to come in to meet all the cats and kittens to find their Purr fect companion. Cats have as many purrsonality differences as people. PURR is a private rescue effort. We take in cats and kittens, make them well, and rehabilitate them for their new adoptive homes. We ask that all adopters agree to have their cats spayed, and love them. We also work with local humane societies to foster their cats and kittens.
There is an adoption donation asked for to cover shots and some medical expenses. The donation amount varies according to the medical status of the cat or kitten. Most kittens have already had their first shots, and worm treatments. The donation asked for them is $40.00.

Donation Amounts for adults vary also, some have been altered already and had all shots, some are waiting to be altered. We are in need of supplies at PURR and at the Taylor County Humane Society. Can you help? Also volunteers are desperately needed to give their time to the animals. Please phone the shelter to see how you can help help the animals 304-265-4215. The scroll list below showcases the cats in foster care for the TCHS, my babes included. I have a large facility for them, and it takes alot of effort time and money to keep them healthy and prepare them for their new homes. They are each loved daily, that is the most important aspect of rehabilitating these throw away babies! Some need to learn to trust again, especially the adults.
